Soetendal Estate, Wellington, is renowned for presenting ‘showroom quality’ horses yearly at various auction sales. Soetendal has another draft of genuine quality at the 2023 Ready To Run and Two-Year-Old Unbroken Sale, to be staged at Hollywoodbets Durbanville on Sunday.
Soetendal’s Julia Pilbeam commented: “This year’s draft looks as exciting as any we’ve had in the past, with something to suit everyone’s pocket, and those looking for early two-year-olds or classic performers.
“Our Ready to Run graduates from previous sales include Seeking the Stars (Grade 2 winner and multiple graded race performer), Alula’s Star (Grade 3 winner), and Good Council (Listed winner). We have three horses from our 2022 draft in the final 18 on the RTR Race log, including the exciting filly Be Lekker – sold for a mere R60 000 last year.
