Cape Racing’s Summer Festival of Racing ends on a regal note as The Royal Race Day closes off the season in style on Sunday, 16 March at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth.

The royal affair welcomes racing enthusiasts, festival lovers, and families to a celebration of thoroughbred excellence, giving back and community spirit. Come dressed to impress in classic black and white, with a touch of red, paying homage to the timeless sophistication of race day fashion. 

Tickets are free and redeemable on Quicket now, with the option to upgrade to a more exclusive raceday experience for just R450 per person. Your upgraded ticket includes a welcome drink, buffet-style high tea, cash bar, wine tasting, and shaded seating with trackside views in our elegant, relaxed Racing Pavilion. 

Giving Back: Racing For A Cause

The Royal Race Day is passionately driven by the Monaco Sport of Kings Group, and together, we are committed to raising R200,000 for two incredible charities:

  • Earth Centre: Providing equine therapy to children with disabilities, using the healing power of horses to make a lasting impact.
  • Sisters Incorporated: A safe haven for survivors of gender-based violence, offering protection, counselling, and empowerment to women and children in crisis.
